Water is an important resource in swine production and it is also an issue both economically and environmentally.

This project made it possible to acquire Quebec reference data on the use of water on the farm and to identify working methods (eg washing) and management (eg watering and cooling of animals) allowing the environmental balance improvement of Quebec swine production while promoting the financial profitability of producers.
