Objectives

Develop and test concepts of ventilation in maternity and finishing to minimize the airflow required during warm periods without affecting livestock performances and animal well-being. The ultimate goal is to reduce the costs associated with the implementation of air filtration systems inside Maternity and Farrow-to-Finish swine barns.
