Aim / objectives:

Evaluate the potential for the application of various available devices for ultrasound measurement of live animals.

  • Identify currently available devices demonstrating the best potential for ultrasound measurement;
  • Evaluate the selected devices on animals from a MOPORC research farm;
  • Develop expertise and data that will act as a reference for various livestock sectors, such as pig, sheep, bovine, etc .;
  • Evaluate the ease of adoption by stakeholders.
