Aim / objectives:
Optimiser la régie d’élevage des truies gestantes en groupe alimentées avec le système de DAC autobloquant.
  • Test nine pen layouts and determine the optimal positioning of the free access ESF system;
  • Determine if gilts require special care (pre-training, groups of gilts only, etc.) or whether they can be housed with multiparous sows:
    • a) Compare the performance of gilts involved in both treatments and monitor their performance up to the third parity;
    • b) Observe the behavior of gilts in these two situations;
    • c) Test different training strategies.
