Evaluation of the different alternatives available for the identification of pigs for slaughter

Aim / objectives:
The main objective of the project is to assess whether there are alternatives available for the identification of pigs for slaughter, ensuring the traceability of the product, from farm to table. To do this, the following activities will be carried out:
- Development of a literature review on the tattooing technique, the different techniques for identifying slaughter pigs and possible alternatives;
- Consultations with slaughterhouses and producers to present and select the alternatives with the best potential.
